Newburgh Youth Soccer Playing Rules are shown below.
Basic Expectations of Fans:
- All Fans should be behind the Fan line on the opposite side of the field of the benches.
- No Fans should be behind or next to the goal area.
- No Fans should enter the field of play or approach the referee.
- Referees with a green patch are under the age of 18. Yelling or verbally attacking them can create other legal issues.
- All Fans should cheer on their team/player in a positive manner with no use of profanity. Remember: the children are learning from the fans how to act towards other players, coaches and referees.
- Please pick up your area after your game so we can keep our fields looking great.
- Please keep your children from hanging on or climbing the goals. This is 100% for their safety. Approximately 180 kids are severely injured each year from a goal flipping over.
- Please remember all Coaches and Board Members are volunteers. They are simply doing this to provide the best athletic environment and experience for every child.
